Using InvestSense
Portfolio
Portfolio tracks the stocks you actually own — not a brokerage connection, just a record you maintain yourself.
Adding a holding
Enter a ticker, how many shares you hold, and your average buy price. InvestSense computes your invested amount, current value, and profit or loss automatically from there, using live prices.
What you get
- Live P&L — in rupees and percent, updating with the price.
- Sector allocation — a breakdown of where your money sits, by industry.
- Per-holding detail — a table with cost, current price, value, and P&L for every position.
Where your data lives
Your holdings are saved on your device only — in your browser's local storage, never on InvestSense's servers. This means it doesn't follow you to a different browser or device, and clearing your browser data clears it too. It also means InvestSense never sees your actual portfolio size or composition.
InvestSense doesn't place trades. This is a tracker, not a brokerage — adding a holding here does nothing to your real account. You still buy and sell through your own broker.
